What are Tips & Tools? PDF Print E-mail

Teachers are responsible to pass on their understanding of God and His Word to the next generation as effectively as possible. However, teaching spiritual truths to children is much more than collecting facts and communicating them effectively. Parents, Sunday School teachers and educators should have lives which match the truths they expect their students to hear and accept.

Tips & Tools books supplement the parent and teacher study guides in a number of ways. With the exception of the Jr High/Sr High and College/Adult levels, each teacher study guide includes a teacher development section which references the corresponding Tips & Tools book. Weekly readings and questions encourage parents and teachers to methodically review and gradually improve their teaching methods.

Tips & Tools suggest effective teaching methods for parents and teachers. Children learn in different manners during different stages of development, and Tips & Tools books are full of beneficial ideas to guide each child according to his or her level of development. Everyone from educators with many students to parents with growing toddlers can find suggested crafts, activities, games, art and more to help children gain and retain spiritual truth.

Tips & Tools are available in five levels corresponding to the Teacher Study Guide levels including a family version, and can be found here in our online store.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
