How much time do the lessons take?
It takes relatively little time for teachers to go through the
two-page study. The key is to start the lesson early in the week.
We have often given adults ten minutes to work through a lesson.
In that amount of time everyone finishes the first day and a few
get to the third or fourth day of the week's devotional. However,
the lessons can take as little or as much time as you desire to
give them.
The questions focus on reading the passage, discovering the facts
in the passage, observing God's part and making application in
our lives. Often it will initiate further thought during the week
and entice you to deepen your understanding. Remember, understanding
and applying the Bible--not completing the lesson--will change
lives. God's Word is His love letter to us; and as we grow in
our relationship with Him, we will desire to spend more time with
Him. Do not be afraid to begin where you are and expect to grow
as the days go by.
