Small Preschool Group: Ending The objective of an ending activity is for one teacher to keep the children's attention positively while parents are picking them up. Children should be able to leave at any point during an ending activity.
Examples A review game, story, music exercise tape, etc. Caution One person should watch the exit so children do not slip out unattended. That person should hand out take-home papers and help parents pick up all belongings. Be sure name tags have been removed.
