Is the Household Under Control?
  • This is an especially good focus when getting started or when everything else seems to be crowding out family devotion time.

  • Choose a different room each week, and use an item from that room for a centerpiece. Have the family devotion time in the chosen room that week. You might draw names out of a hat to determine the next room to choose.

  • Note three good qualities of the room and how this may relate to the current passage.

  • Note three needs of the room and how this may relate to the current passage.

  • Determine a plan of action to change one or two of the worst qualities for the better during the following week.
