Presenting the Story: Introduction

Present the current passage of God's truth in story form so young children develop a love and hunger for God's Word (1 Pt. 3:15). God has provided many illustrations and explanations in His Word in story form. Your stories should also illustrate and explain His truths. As a parent you may want to read the story summary as provided. The following ideas will give you guidelines for determining story content and thoughts to provide variety when you need it, especially when several children are involved.

Parental Discipline 

Biblical discipline focuses on the attitudes of the heart (Pr. 22:15.). It also focuses on training (Pr. 1:2-4) and the contrast between wisdom and foolishness (Pr. 1:5-7).
